  The first 300 customers received this custom printed torso. Even though the queue to enter stretched to almost behind the building when I got in line and I had to wait 1 1/2 hours after the opening to even enter, I was still able to acquire one of these torsos. To celebrate the opening, there was a giant inflatable(?) minifigure in the parking lot, a live string band outside, free coffee and build-a-minifigure, displays by MichLUG, and Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader cosplayers. So glad to have a B&M nearby (but my wallet won’t be happy about it)
My first ever LEGO set was this Roadster*. I add the asterisk because it was not actually this roadster. Mine was Mitchell Mouse, not Moe, and not Michael. I am trying to find the pieces to mine, because I remember the doors, and the body being red. The same color as the chassis. My instructions are long gone, however in one of my boxes of instructions in my storage shed there are pieces of this booklet. Does anyone else recall their set being named Mitchell? I cannot find anything to back ups this claim other than mine and my father’s memory of it.

The theme was essentially Lego City, but with mechs and a focus on their power source. I decided to take this prompt and put mechs in the most mundane and impractical City environment possible: office work.  Working mechs need their cup of coffee/motor oil to keep them energized  Being a mech doesn’t make pencil-pushing or working on spreadsheets any more exciting. The computer, of course, is powered by cute animal pictures.   This mechanized mop bucket is powered by… er.. the messes it cleans up.  Mech Corp.’s CEO gives the quarterly reports. His levitating bow tie is powered by money, and the design is meant to evoke Baron Harkonnen’s or Emperor Palpatine’s life support systems. I realize I did push the definition of “mech” a bit throughout, but I wanted to go for the absurd.

Over the past six months I've been trying to get my lego collection to a place of being very organized, and it's looking pretty good! I mainly built things with technic, so most of my setup is focused on that, and smaller studded pieces are stored in tackle boxes on the shelf to the left. The organizational elements on the right are built out of lego, including the set of drawers. It seems these bricks were made in the late 1970s without Lego's authorization, by rogue employees developing new types of plastic and experimenting with their molds and various plastic colors. It is unknown just how many of these bricks were made, but they are extremely valuable, and in my opinion and many others, very beautiful.
I have a problem with my International Space Station 21321 set, all the blue clips that hold the panels to the main beams are crumbling, and weakened enough that I wake up to panels on the floor. I have no idea why this is happening, but hoping someone can help? Ideas I can do different to prevent it after I replace these parts? It seems to effect all the blue clips not just the big ones, even the little pod lost one of its solar panels :( Some details, it's probably 4 years old now. I keep it on display but not under glass, in a 72f room. I have difficulty keeping it totally dust free as it's very fragile to begin with, but it's never really been touched otherwise. Such as Lego Racing; you build a car to race with. Also, the actual environment/background is not made of Lego. The purpose is to race a car, and the building of the car is a facet of the game. The same is true for... any of them,really. Lego Marvel Superheroes, Star Wars, Batman, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Marvel Superheroes, DC Supervillians, Lord of the Rings... etc. It's a world with a 'skin' on Lego thrown on top.
