Like to talk about photography, cameras, and anything related? This is the place to do it!
Photo taken in Victoria, some time 8:45 PM 7th Oct - 12:45 AM 8th Oct. Many more pics in the original post on FB: https://www.facebook.com/groups/auroraaustralia/posts/2064729400609152/ That group is great overall, and Arun is really dedicated in providing up to date information if you're interested in seeing the aurora. He published an Australian guide book about it in June this year.

Near the Monaro Hwy/Snowy Mountains Hwy intersection (aka the Bombala turnoff)
Near Bulls Head in the Brindabellas, near Canberra
Looking towards Canberra from Pierces Creek forest
I know this isn't technically photography but I mean it's not every day you see little aliens with acid for blood in the bin area.
The foreground is Mt Coree with its trig point and fire watch tower.
Took this coming down the mountain from Lovick's Hut, roughly halfway to Bluff Hut, looking west. The peak at the centre (with cloud hovering over it) is Mt Buller and the one to the right of that (1/4 in from right edge, slightly more cloud) is Mt Stirling. Love me some Victorian high country.
cross-posted from: https://lemmy.blahaj.zone/post/3206920 > I'm not from Sydney, but I took this photo when I was there this weekend gone, and thought that I'd share it
