"In this Our Changing Climate video essay, I look at the looming threat of species extinction and biodiversity collapse. Specifically, I uncover the extent of the sixth mass extinction. What it is and how bad it's happening. Then, I work through the key drivers of the acceleration of species die-offs across the planet. I look at how climate change and land use change (read: deforestation) have destructive consequences for the biodiversity climate.
