Newbie question

Hi I'm just wondering how you guys keep your cage close to your body. With mine I end up getting too excited and the whole device gets pushed far away from my body. Ive tried using string but its not helping as much as I'd like. I'd love to hear some of you guys tips for newcomers as well.
