... The VP can't overrule the president. They also cannot write laws. They do have a lot of things they can do though. Not sure what you think she was supposed to do that she hasn't though, if it was about overruling past legislature, She can't. You have to vote for Congress/senators for such.
That's on purpose... We were taught such in elementary school, middle school, and high school, but so many people seem to not remember anything.
You don't ask a judge to write a law, he's in the wrong branch. Same with a VP.

So was the guy they executed the other day right? So innocence might not be it either

Now go after Oscar Meyer and Burger King. I am not getting any ham in my burger or dog in my hot's. They are buying a product which they know full well before they complete the sale that it does not and is not lawfully allowed to auto pilot itself around the country. The owners manuals will give them a full breakdown as well I'm sure. If you spend thousands of dollars on something and don't know the basic rules and guidelines, you have much bigger issues. If anything, one should say to register these vehicles to drive on the road, they should have to be made aware.
If someone is that dumb or ignorant to jump through all the hoops and not know, let's be honest: They shouldn't be driving a car either.

Yeah, I used to use it to send out 2 factor setup links for RSA. Users standardly couldn't get their work email on their work phone until they were enrolled in Intune, so new users, or users who handnt already set up Windows Hello, I'd just grab their ISP from the cell phone distribution list or ask them if it was a personal phone and send it through att or Verizon etc.

It was Terry's fault. He was told multiple times to back up as the fireworks were already lit. He panicked, he didn't have control over his emotions and failed to move his vehicle.

Fathers side is all from Sicily, never once did I hear any of them say a word about Columbus, probably couldn't tell you what part of the year it was in.

Well he clearly must think the police are the Mafia, who would be called in to handle business disputes.

No, what makes you think that? I understand doubting Elon, but Waymo works great day in and out. The only bad incident I know of with them was when another vehicle with a person driving hit a pedestrian that threw the pedestrian under a Waymo, and they had to update the software to know what to do when a person spawns under the vehicle. Horrible, yes. But one of their cars wouldn't have hit the pedestrian to start.

Waymo did it well when I was in Tempe, so it already exists. Tesla just wasn't putting quality hardware into it. The Jaguars were nice

What stops us from recycling batteries from vehicles coming off the road and setting them up as not only battery backups for houses on the grid, but also setting up local storages to off-load all the new cars being charged onto the batteries, and just using a constant charge to those throughout the day/night whenever cheapest. Would that not cut all load issues down as we build and as most people would know, our grid on the U.S. actually has less load now because we kept integrating more and more energy efficient items recently (lightbulbs, dishwashers, refrigerators, tvs, dryers, etc.). It isn't on the same scale many would want, but we stalled on upgrading the grid since before Obamas plan coming in, that was in the debates I remember in 2008. 20 years and hardly any upgrades isn't the consumers faults, we paid for upgrades over and over and the electric companies are it up and said, well if you want it you need to pay more from everything I have seen.
I recently read through this and was just curious what others thought the pitfalls or unforseen issues might be with quickly or steadily transitioning to such in a fairly environmentally friendly manner. Hate the title name, but I think I have to use the article title as the title.

Yeah that makes more sense when I re-read it. I was tired, I know there is basically subs mocking the abuses on Reddit, but didn't know of one for Twitter, so I figured I'd ask. Elon is on to many posts for sure, so they could have just meant any technology sub being used to talk about his crazy.

Haha nah, when I first got to Lemmy I created an account on .ml, then .ca, made one on hexbear to understand who they were, one in world, and finally one on dbzero. Figured it couldn't hurt to find a community of people that was nice. Oh wait, forgot fedia.io when I wanted to figure out what they meant by seeing upvotes/downvotes and who was making them so I could understand more about the interworking of the instances.
Mostly I use world and dbzero now in Jerboa, fedia.io opens in the mbin app, so I haven't used it much. I kind of forgot about it till now.

Left of center: means of production owned by the public.
Right of center: means of production owned by private companies.
Democrats and Republicans are both capitalists, they are right. What you may have been confused by is what the term liberal means to others. Liberalism at its core is government that leaves the people be while not trampling on the majorities will. It is intrinsically capitalistic as well. Locke.. Franklin.. whoever you really look at. France has a lot to look at there.
So in the U.S. we misuse the term to call democrats leftists, as leftists would view them as right of center. Center being the 0 point.

You can just create another account in another instance and run them side by side in a singular app. Switching back and forth is simple. I have a couple, reasons can vary, one would be that .world decided to take pirating communities off, to protect themselves. Whether they needed to or not, doesn't matter, it's their choice. I just hop to another instance to see those, but most of the content will be the same for me across instances because I haven't hunted to much for new subs. Probably should eventually.

Downvote the bot? They do in every thread, form of protest against it from what I've read. They don't like 1 person with a bias generating a bases for everyone as to whether a source is legitimate, as it could skew unfamiliar people to believe what isn't true. Also, it's frame of left/right is bias towards a localized perception from their area, not a global perception.

An investigation started under Trump, to seek out ANTIFA members who did it.... Only to eventually give up on that narrative when they remembered it was themselves all along, so now instead of prison sentences they are calling them by anything but criminals. You know, those pro military, pro police people... Campaigning under a person who shits on the military over and over, and supports the people who assualted the police on Jan 6.

When was pre-capitalism to you?
60 million apps keep getting pushed on us, and everyone wants their own... Every restaurant, gorcery store, etc. Would it not be feasible to install all of those Kroger, Gas Stations, bloat, bloat, bloat apps on an app Server that we just have a remote access to them like a thin client from our phone in a singular app of shortcuts (look like a folder, directory) So all the apps stay installed and don't use resources on the phone. Which keeps storage requirements down on the local device and means when you go into another device you can just log in and have access to all the apps already signed in and how you left them. Does anyone know if there is already such a setup? It wouldn't work well with things like streaming services, but it could still cover a lot of day to day apps I don't really want to have to have on my device.
Search Profile Comments- I usually don't think about it but I went to find a comment I made to find an old post. Is there a way we can integrate a search function for are own profile?
My lady showed this to me so I figured I'd post it here... she may have been sending me a hint.
I hate that the title for the article claims "every problem" but I wanted to hear other users thoughts on this article
