The same apps I always used no longer work because of OS requirements. The “download older version” feature is extremely hit and miss (mostly miss).
The device works fine and is functionally useless because Apple said so. That’s not cool with me. Android might be just as bad, I don’t know — I’m sticking with FOSS mostly these days and just don’t have a working tablet anymore.

While I agree with others pointing out the oddity of a portable server in general: this sounds like a great use-case for a laptop.
Built-in battery, wifi you can broadcast out as a hotspot, and it even has a display/keyboard/mouse for troubleshooting!
An older laptop with the optical drive stripped out could have a 2.5” 5TB HDD in addition to the boot drive for some decent mobile storage.

I just recently did this test on an old MacBook Pro 2011 and installed Windows 10, Pop, and macOS in succession. Windows ran like ass and Pop and macOS ran about the same (fine). Settled on Pop for better Steam compatibility. Trust me, Windows is uniquely bad.

I have my DKIM CNAME records populated but only 2/3 pass the check. Domain.com:protonmail fails and as a result I can’t setup my third-party DMARC analyzer tool. Protonmail2 and 3 work fine. Support said “it will eventually generate a key but we can’t do anything.” This is bullshit since the records have existed for a year. They confirmed I set it up correctly. Anyone run into this issue before?

My buddy brought his drone and snapped a few pics, this was my favorite. Unfortunately we didn’t get any wakeboarding shots. I warned him it would end up in the water and on the first launch it clipped a seat cushion and dove straight into the water, haha. He was able to snag it before it sank. Glad he got some pics later, though!

I went nuclear and overwrote and then deleted all my content with PDS. Then I deleted my account, and later found out many of my comments are still up. Since I no longer have the account, I’m screwed unless they comply with my CCPA request. But it occurs to me that mods can remove comments. Would it be effective to report my own stuff from another account and ask mods to remove them?
