.ee is quite chill. Mods on communities don't really seem to do the ban hammer like the explicitly left instances do.
But there is content there isn't allowed, but I don't really consider that censorship

I would do option 3, both as a user and if I were to make my own service. I'd let a dedicated image service do it. I'm not worried about IP leakage and if I am I can use a VPN. If I want to be that concerned about it, I think the responsibility is on me, not on the service unless they promise that level of privacy.
I vote for what gives the best experience for users and makes running the service easier and cost effectivem

Maybe Gris might fall into this category? The art is watercolor-like. https://kagi.com/proxy/49096932556_9df94050cd_k.jpg?c=ku7SFIUNyzScXcKVCiVtiLt8qp38RhQL-qpVbdZEzLDJAe5oxkuASH4KBlnRxNVbU0-UjMTnFdPJCpJGzapCh641CjuxRLLgJ1LWV6r1hqs%3D

So when people buy minis like this one, they typically strip off the old first?
I see a lot of bigger minis (medis?) from shows like DBZ and I always think I'd love to paint over them. But you can't just start painting on top, right? What do you do to prep them for repainting?
> Just four airlines control 80% of the airline industry — the most concentrated it’s ever been. And they’re using their power over consumers, and airports, to jack up prices. But this small airport in Missoula, Montana, is showing how to break the major carriers’ stranglehold.

I'm not familiar with that term. What does that mean?

Oh, you're a person. My bad. I thought with so many posts in such a short time that it was a bot.
Edit: it's not a big deal. There's a setting to mark an account as a bot. So I was more looking for that.
Edit 2. Here's where I got the number from

Also, this is an account that's 1 day old with 64 posts on news articles and doesn't appear to be marked as a bot.

You'd think, but maybe not. One thing that China does is it's really strict on not letting people bring money out of the country. I have friends that have money back home that they can't get out of the country.
The main reason for that is that when the gov't opens that up, billions start flowing out of the country really fast. So, if you leave, you're leaving your money behind.

Love the guy tripping the bread dude, and so many people are already passed out drunk. Weaklings. I also like that the musicians are separated and above the group, b/c if they were at ground level, you know they'd be constantly getting hit by drunk shenanigans.

ooooo I'll have to come back to this one. I remember that in the movie, the opening scene terrified me as a kid. I remember more, of course, but that would be a good one to come back to.

Actually, I'm down in Latin America right now and a lot of deliveries are done by bike or scooter. It actually often takes about the same amount of time when in town, maybe a tiny bit longer depending, but because bikes are more versatile than cars - ie smaller, more maneuverable - they can sort of cut through the traffic much easier. In these urban areas, bikes are often faster to get around with, especially if you have infrastructure for it.
But most deliveries down here are on scooter, not in a car.

It's nice. There are different scents. You use your finger to rub just a tiny bit off and apply it. The smells are good. I'd say it's a bit harder to over-apply. And it's in a much smaller package, so easier to transport.

Something like that, except it'd be DeLarge and it's in the system with a space and apparently case-insensitive

I did it with Fulton and Roark's wax based cologne. It's great for traveling and they smell nice. I still have the sample pack since I don't wear cologne often.

Edit/Update: It turns out that my last name has a capitol letter in the middle and they put a space in it. Thank god. I can actually vote this year.

I see these things all over Latin America and stayed at a bunch of places that have them. It can get SUPER hot. The cool thing about them is that the pipes that heat the water are vacuum sealed and don't heat the water directly. I forget the exact mechanics of it, but it pretty much doesn't matter what the temperature is. It can take that solar energy and add it to water.

This is probably the wrong place for this, but is there any intention to have something like super communities, where the same community exists on multiple instances but is treated like just one? Ie, if you sub to asklemmy on world, you see content from whatever other servers have asklemmy.

> Meet Alden, an American actress who lived in China for 8 years and has now been in France for 2. She shares how American culture differs from Chinese and European ones, what shocks Americans about living in China, and the biggest advantages of being in Paris as an American. Enjoy! She also shared what it was like for her and her kids to go back to the United States, how she and they adapted to different cultures.
This is a group that I recently found out about. They do activities together and you get discounts on local lodging, work spaces, restaurants, etc. Registration was free and I joined them for a local soccer game. It was a lot of fun!
I wanted to share this useful gadget. It's a power cube with 3 ac slots + 2 USBA + 1USBC with surge protection, etc. It's much more compact than what I was using before and since the cable is flexible, it effectively uses less space in the bag. I overbought and went with the 10' cable, but the 6' should be fine. You may be able to find it for less on amazon. ![](https://lemm.ee/api/v3/image_proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn.shopify.com%2Fs%2Ffiles%2F1%2F0493%2F9834%2F9974%2Fproducts%2FA9134121-Anker_524_Power_Strip_3838x.png%3Fv%3D1672495149)
