Low Quality Post: Reddit PH

I just visited it to see what I was missing and thinking if I should go back. There’s way more political talk than I remember! I got sad from all what the VP is doing (or not doing)! Then I got shocked by a post that says biko is one of the top 5 worst PH foods! While I prefer more of the 2nd topic, even if I disagree with it, it is few and far between all the politics. I am staying put.

What can you say about the BBM presidency?

I hope lemmy posters do not engage in character assasination (of the poster). Well here it goes: I am a supporter of Leni. With that in mind, here are my thoughts. I don’t know if I have become jaded, or just got too old. It’s starting to become harder to imagine how it could be better. It’s not so bad. I still work, pay taxes, and just live. I don’t know how Leni would handle the issue with China. I don’t know how Leni will deal with the sinking value of the peso. Will she be able to improve education? What about the businesses that died during the pandemic? Or the movie industry? I walk around and see cinema houses a mere shadow of their former selves. With the pandemic, everything changed. I don’t know how a good leader will turn things around. Is BBM not doing the best he can? While I still prefer Leni and Kiko to be president and vice president, I don’t know what a better future looks like anymore. Are we just going through the motions and just want to live another day? There are no magic bullets to solve our problems. What does a REALISTIC better world supposed to look like? Maybe I’m just sad and depressed, but these are my thoughts relating to the Philippines. I want some conversations about this, and am hoping to not be attacked for it.

Robinson's Bank and BPI Merger

I received a message a few days back that the two banks are merging, and Robinson’s bank will cease to exist. I want to ask, what banks would you recommend I transfer my savings? My superficial requirements are: * Good Name (may reputation na stable / safe siya) * Good App (yung well maintained and useful ang kanilang phone apps) * Good Customer Service (kahit may pila parati, basta di naman mala-sloth ang interaction sa customer) Ayun lang. No mention of interest rates, etc. Thank you :)

Apple watch activity sync issue

Hi! I just want to ask if this is an issue with apple watch os 10.1 I have an apple watch that does not display any activity by friends. I do see their activities on my iphone, but it is not reflecting on the watch (my friends activity rings do not reflect. But mine does on the watch) If this is not an os issue, how to i fix this?

App hangs when gesturing

Hi @kuro_neko@lemmy.ca I just like to report an issue I have. When dragging my finger from below the screen to the middle, it sometimes hangs and requires a device harware restart. Additional info: I am using a surface duo 2. The other screen also locks up when this happens. The entire device is unusable when this happens. Thank you

Do upvotes and downvotes work the same as reddit? I mean, I'm usually a lurker and mainly upvote posts and comments that are good. Does it affect "hot" and "active" sorting of posts and comments?
