Just donated last night. I've been using this keyboard for the past month. I switched over from gboard. While I've never really used speech to text I'm just glad that this keyboard is so privacy focused. You can swap out the llms too if it fits your style

Wait there was a nuclear test less than a year ago?
Edit: Wikipedia says the most recent test was on 2017/09/03, making this photo taken on 2018/04/01
Edit 2: I found the article this photo is from with more context. TL:DR it was reset back in 2022 bc the US conducted two clandestine tests.

I was in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, recently and it was like a ghost town. Can't say I'd recommend it but our hotel put all the guests on one floor and it was still deserted. Great free breakfast but it felt weird being there. There's lots of tourist infrastructure there. Multiple cruise lines, hotels, night markets, etc. But unfortunately the country experienced a lot of corruption and COVID cut off their tourist supply. Now a lot of buildings lay half finished or abandoned. Would highly recommend other places in Vietnam but this seemed apt for your question.

A cargo ship crashed into one of two main supports for the 2.5km long bridge at around 1:30AM EDT. There is an ongoing search and rescue effort and authorities are looking for upwards of seven people.
A hostel company I stayed with a while back emailed me with the subject: "Your booking is confirmed!". This made me frantically check all my accounts since I hadn't booked any hostels recently. I was super concerned until I opened the email and saw... it was a stupid marketing email... This kind of marketing should be illegal. Don't use Clink Hostels.
I've read other posts on places like Quora or Reddit about how ineffective lasers would be as anti personal or anti ship weaponry, but what about for point defense? We see cases in the story of the PDCs running out of ammo/jamming/other mechanical failures. Theoretically, lasers would be less prone to such issues as there are fewer moving parts, right? Contemporary militaries have (sea/air) ship mounted lasers to destroy or jam incoming missiles, so why wouldn't this work in space? I understand people or ships could have ablative armor but would that be practical on a missile? PDLs would not be subject to running out of ammo, and if ships can power railguns they should be able to provide ample power for lasers capable of slagging or jamming incoming missiles.
