You know, now that you mention it...maybe that's not such a bad idea, eh, Donny-boy? You keep yours, we'll keep ours, and we'll see who has the better economy after.

Oooo, like that game where you make a sentence using the suggested words to me and I don't know what to do with it too much scrutiny on the way to the point of the same thing as a young man and I don't want anyone else starting with the same person as a young person who cares about it but they don't have to be a human anymore just an idea of the time and then have enough of a relationship with him and Burns ensues after themselves.

A smart coffee maker is the person who makes sure I get to drink coffee. It's me. I'm the smart coffee maker.
Yeah, they can keep their data-harvesting stuff to themselves; no thanks.

As someone who also wasn't sure what this was about, I appreciate the genuine (yet not graphic) explanation. Thanks

My hope is that this demoralizes his supporters so they just don't vote.

I read the order in full and am so satisfied. It's quite short and worth the read. While it isn't much in the grand scheme of things, reading Judge Chutkan's metaphorical eyeroll was delicious. I particularly enjoyed:
Setting aside the oxymoronic proposition that the public’s understanding of this case will be enhanced by withholding information about it, any public debate about the issues in this case has no bearing on the court’s resolution of those issues. “Legal trials are not like elections, to be won through the use of the meeting-hall, the radio, and the newspaper.” Bridges v. State of Cal., 314 U.S. 252, 271 (1941).

I think IDF also uses option B - explosives. Also very effective, since the only ones who get harmed by IDF weapons are Hamas, so everyone killed/harmed in the blast zone can safely be declared Hamas.

Just you wait. Given some of the dumb things that have come out of people's mouths, I would definitely not be surprised to see a headline like:
BREAKING: Corporate scientists suggest microplastic problem be solved with acid rain.

Full disclosure that I'm not a vegan, but I love veggies.
One of my favorite pizzas has artichoke hearts, red onion, spinach, and tomatoes. Pair it with a garlic-based vegan cream sauce, and it should be delicious.

Jareth is not allowed to be completely gay. He can be 99% gay, but I require that 1% to remain ungay so I can have a chance with this fictional character.
Also Sarah, after she's grown up about 15 years. She's also not allowed to be 100% straight for the same reason.
This is a totally normal way to think, right? 🙃

I fear her remains may not be returned with all of her organs.
I feel so sorry for her family, and for her, since they thought she was coming home alive.

(Please read with as much sarcasm as you can imagine.) Hmm, who else forced people out of their homes and into extermination zones? 🤔 I feel like there must be some major event in history that we're missing because this just seems so familiar. Couldn't possibly have had anything to do with the creation of Israel, though, nooo, so there's no reason for them to know better.
Netanyahu's Israel needs to be reigned in and Netanyahu and his cronies need to be tried for war crimes.

Is anyone else starting to wonder whether Orwell was a time traveler trying to warn us?
It couldn't possibly be that Trump and his handlers are using it (edit: 1984) as a road map and his followers are stupid enough not to notice.

Hi all, I have backups turned off everywhere I can find the ability to do so on my pixel 8 pro, but am regularly (multiple times per week) getting notifications that my Google storage is almost full. Lo and behold, every time I check drive, I suddenly have a backup that I have to delete, again and again. Does anyone have any tips? It's really making me regret getting a Google phone, since I don't need my phone connected to my email. Thanks in advance! :)
What are some (non-English) idioms, and what do they mean (both literally and in context)? Odd ones, your favorite ones - any and all are welcome. :) For example, in English I might call someone a "good egg," meaning they're a nice person. Or, if it's raining heavily, I might say "it's raining cats and dogs."
I'm upgrading because my phone is losing (lost?) support. I use a OnePlus 7 Pro and love it and wouldn't bother upgrading otherwise. I'd appreciate some recommendations of android phones you like, please. Thank you in advance! (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
