i love this band - i found this [cat meme](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAOxlNiDWt0&pp=ygUKYmFuYW5hIG1hbg%3D%3D) this afternoon - cute cats, great song - polar opposite from what i usually listen to but they have the same non-conformist energy - was directed to music video - lyrics make no sense (which automatically makes it better than 90% of songs on the billboard) - actual effort put into recording and production, no computer-assisted nonsense (bye bye 9 more percent) - seems to also criticize the dehumanizing nature of capitalism - sounds absurdly like what a big label rock band would record on holiday on "fuck it we ball" mode - is not just a verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus - find live version - wow these guys are hot - they are from umich (i will transfer there this fall) - like the bassline, actually quite easy to play - jammed along a few loops - instant good vibes will get back once i listen to the whole album. it's called Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum
