This is intreresting. What is the connection between GS and BRICs? How does it help them sell equities?

I should really cron my Borg script rather than waiting for a sinking anxiety to set it and doing backups at random intetvals

I just about to write this. If we could have a rule on this it'd be great. Really don't like these depressing comics.

You should tell your best friend about how you have been feeling if you havent. I know it's hard but I'm sure they would want to help and listen.

Honestly, I think this kinds works. Like Lignux neatly integrates GNU without awkwardly expanding it and could be pronounced the same way already is (unless you want to be a psychopath and go around saying 'Lig-Nucks').

This reads like an absurd Kafkan affair. Here's a quote from the article:
Over those same years, however, Gambaryan has taken an even more unlikely path: In 2021, he left the IRS to take a job as the head of investigations at Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange—a move seen widely as driven by Binance’s belated attempt to clean up its own widespread use for money laundering, which led the company to pay a $4.3 billion criminal fine to the US government last year. When Nigeria followed that fine by accusing Binance of similar criminal misconduct and devaluing the country's national currency, it was Gambaryan who was invited to Abuja to negotiate with the Nigerian government earlier this year. Instead, the Nigerian government detained Gambaryan, took his passport, and has now jailed him for over six months, charging him with money laundering and tax evasion as a proxy for his employer.
This reads like a total farce. What could possibly be the end goal for the Nigerian government here? Do they just want someone in handcuffs for the press ops to cover up their own incompetence?
What software have you found particularly frustrating or difficult to configure on Linux?

I think my face would be more concerned if they specifically picked Voyager out of the 90s/00s Trek.

Yeah, I would say that this applies in general. That hat that we associate with a particular kind of socially maladjusted individual is not the faithful fedora but its contemptable cousin: the thrilby.

I've noticed a general sentiment that printing on Linux is (or at least was) extremely cumbersome and difficult. Why is that?

Yo, so Evil on Emacs is just vim keybindings, right? What's DOOM Emacs?

Yes, I think @hypercracker@hexbear.net is right. 8 years of experiencing this is awful and it would be good to get the validation of a medical professional. Also, they might be able to support your claims if you wish to pursue legal recourse.

You're right I sbould have included that in the question. I'm on Hyprland with Wayland so there are quite a few choices. I mentioned rofi (rofi-wayland) and wofi because I can see that they are both options here.
Looking for a good app launcher for Linux. Currently looking for something for Arch and I see there's a lot of options liks rofi and wofi. What are your favourite app launchers and why?

Completely agree with all your points. On a tangential note, I wish opensecrets had an rss feed...

I wouldn't recommend Signal for privacy. It has quite a few concerning issues. There are some good alternatives however. I think Briar is good if privacy is your chief concern. Sam Bent compared some of the other alternatives in this video.
I'm sure there are orgs that audit FOSS code for security and privacy. Could you guys let me know what some of the main orgs that do this? Do you have any ones you like in particular.
I see a lot of options on Fdroid. Which one do you guys like the most?
Looking for a good FOSS Matrix clisnt. What's your favourite and why?
What do you guys think? I don't think there's a lot of depth to the arguments, myself. It reads more like an threadbare op-ed with a provocative title. But I'd like to hear you opinions on the impact of automated testing solutions on the role of pen-testers in the industry.
5 minute ad breaks every 15 minutes kinda ruin the experience.
Brendan Metcalfe's intro series to list comprehensions is one of the best I've come across. In addition to showing how to use them, he compares it to other similar methods and shows why LCs can be more effective. Wanted to share his stuff here.
