camera seems perfectly good, the utter carelessness is the actual problem

As far as I understand, lizards and dinosaurs are distinct types of reptiles the same way turtles and crocodilians are. Also dinosaurs (apart from birds which are technically dinosaurs) have been extinct since 65 million years ago, so even then this lizard is way too late in the game.

I was the same until like two months ago when I had to learn Nginx!

As far as I know only Apache uses .htaccess files, Nginx works a different way

It’s not gonna stop it from making an absolute shit ton of money, and that’s all that matters for the studios.

Yup, I totally agree. I’ve been in this situation a few times where I just asked a question because I wanted to know people’s opinion about something privacy or FOSS related, and got downvoted.
I have an IRL friend who went back to Reddit in large parts because of stuff like this. It’s pretty bad.
And I say all this as an open source developer

Welcome to Lemmy where having an opinion even slightly different from the open source/Linux fanboys grants you downvotes to oblivion, no questions asked 🙃

Haven’t seen the film yet but I was agreeing with them until the very last part.
There’s some great arguments against these Disney soft reboots that tell the same story as the original films, but throwing all the previous sequels under the same bus as Romulus seems nonsensical to me.

Thank you for reminding me that I am indeed old

I’m mainly talking about Drive and Pass. I don’t really remember as it’s been a while since I’ve tested them, but the situation doesn’t seem to have changed. Here’s a good thread for Drive. I remember Pass having problems with auto-fill which made it unusable for me.
I have Proton Unlimited but only use two of their services because of this, it’s pretty frustrating.

I love Proton’s mission just like all Lemmy users but I wouldn’t say you can trust them in terms of quality. Apart from Proton Mail and Proton VPN, most of their other products unfortunately have a deep lack of features.

The gameplay is really well done I think. As much as I love 2, the way you move in 3 makes 2 feel old and kinda slow. As long as you play solo it’s really fun, it’s the story that’s utter garbage but everything else is good.

Meanwhile, you’ve been able to use ad blockers on Safari for iOS for years and years. Once the EU forces Apple to let developers publish actual other browsers on the App Store (and not just reskinned Safari), iOS should be pretty great in terms of browsing liberty & comfort.

Yeah! I like this idea. Not sure how feasible it is but I’d sure like to see some billionaire at least try it.
Main problem with this I think is who would get to drive them? Because they need to be driven at least a little to keep their shape and to make sense. Not all people could drive them because they need to be driven carefully, which most people can’t do (brand new track day cars are famously beaten up even after a few years, not exactly the same context but something to keep in mind).

What would you rather do with all these old classic cars that require a great amount of money to keep running, then?
tahoe 3mo ago • 25%
Is it really wasteful though? Especially if they’re classic cars, it’s not like the money is thrown out the window. The value is still here, just in car form instead of stock/bank account form.
Now vain on the other hand…

You can find the current ones at [labels.tahoe.be](https://labels.tahoe.be), but this is all a work in progress!
Had fun making this little tool for generating YouTube links with timecodes from mobile devices. You can check it out here: https://tahoe.be/youtube-timecode This is still somewhat of a work in progress so I'd appreciate some feedback! Hope you guys like it :)
Hi! Not sure if self promotion is allowed, but I wanted to share my plugin I just launched. It's called **Debrandify** and it allows you to completely **remove, replace and control all the WordPress-related branding on your site**. This includes things like login logo, tab titles, admin footer, emails... You can either remove it entirely or replace it with your own texts and logos. I also included some bonus features to make your WordPress site a little lighter. You can download it [on wordpress.org](https://wordpress.org/plugins/debrandify/) as any other plugin and check out [the GitHub repository](https://github.com/morceaudebois/debrandify). If you like it, please give it a [review and comment on wordpress.org](https://wordpress.org/plugins/debrandify/#reviews), it will help with SEO! Thank you 🙏
Hi! I have [a USB hub](https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07WMG6LB7/) I've been using for a few months. I have an M1 MacBook and it was plugged to it through a USB A to A cable and a USB A to C adapter, which worked perfectly. I've been wanting to get rid of the adapter so I got [a nice USB A to C cable](https://www.amazon.fr/UGREEN-Charge-Rapide-Compatible-Samsung/dp/B07PQXTH41/) instead (which can transfer data). The cable works perfectly with all the devices I've tried it with (hard drives, phones...) but won't work with the hub, and I have no idea why. I tried a bunch of other USB A to C cables and they won't work either. It only works when there's a USB A to A cable involved. Here's a before and after of the setup if it helps: https://imgur.com/a/xUYt1Td Tried to contact the hub's support but they won't reply. Any idea what could be going on?
