Yeah I really don't get what people are talking about, I've been using wayland basically exclusively since 2022 and I haven't had any difficult to fix problems. For screensharing in the few things that don't support the portal I just use OBS' virtual webcam and everything else has just worked perfectly, or at least with way less issues than I ever had with X

It would probably be hard to do well but it would be really cool if someone made a replacement top lid for the framework 13 that had an e ink screen so you could just close your laptop and take notes on the lid. You could even customize it to display whatever you want when the laptop is open so you could have virtual laptop stickers or like show your name for when you're somewhere people need to know your name.
