Very happy to see my eastern border state told the GOP they cannot have that power. This is awesome.
Proud of you, Ohio.

It's about time they unionize! Power to the vfx artists and crew!!!
Everyone deserves a job that isn't so painful and unworkable as things like this get to be.

Personal opinion, this is not gonna work.
The comics are usually around 4-6 panels in a very specific situation where they do not connect to other things. Making an entire show out of that seems like a huge stretch.
I'd give it a shot if I had AppleTV+ but honestly I think this will be way different than the comics.

On the page showing the app screenshots, it says it will soon be able to interact with mastadon. This is the moment.

Huh. Good point. I kinda assumed differently. I have no doubt it's heavily requested tho. Guess things just wont be as convenient.

Lemmy doesn't really support embedding videos yet. It's a highly requested feature so i think we can be assured it'll be here within a future update.

You could try using an open-source client for YouTube. Like Freetube for pc, windows, and mac or Newport for Android. That's what I'm doing. Both of these don't use its API generally and you don't make an account on them. You can still access the content while having an app that works to get rid of ads entirely and without all the bloatware.

Atm the only one we have I've seen is the Mysterious 3 day poop challenge. I believe we have yet to hear from this guy.

Im so happy you're working on an app. The customization with your app always made reddit so much more enjoyable.
Can't wait to see how your Lemmy app comes out!

Apps are more customizable. The UI also tends to be better. The web app is fine but i find trying to upvote anything closes a post i just opened. Personally, i like seeing full images of things as I scroll by. So something like a webclient isnt very convenient and rather tedious. I'm using a whole bunch pf userscripts on my desktop to improve the pc experience, apps generally do that for me on android.
In the end, it's user preference. I prefer Jerboa, Liftoff, and Thunder atm.

Try swapping on the Compact view in settings. That might be more what you're looking for

Both seem very cool. The Hu is particularly fun. Mongolian Throat Singing should be paired with more things.
Thanks for the recommendation!
Checking out this community and I hear some pretty cool bands here. I only really followed Eluveitie and know quite a bit from them. I'm interested in checking out lots of others. My particular favorite kinds of metal are power, prog, and symphonic.

Alternative to Youtube. A lot of youtube creators advertise it since they get more out of it and aren't under youtube's guidelines. It's a 5 dollsr a month thing iirc, but you could do something like CuriosityStream + Nebula for 15 a year.

Rest in peace, Boost for Reddit. You were my favorite reddit app out there. I would hope @rmayayo does something here.

I'd mainly just say
- multi-lemmy similar to the multireddits.
- consider a post read as you scroll past it.
- this is probably app specific, but some mobile clients have trouble with certain links embedding. It varies per app, but I'd hope for this to be fixed along the process so things are more readable.
- something that combines post comment sections over multiple instances. This one's probably more complex but I'd hope to keep the decentralization but still have all the activity in one place snd not see it multiple times.
Other things are already really good.
