I got into vertex shading in lieu of doing anything UV-coordinate related.
For reference, that's what Mario Sunshine used to fake most of the game's shadows, and the original Homeworld used them to create the entire skybox back when 3d-dedicated hardware wasn't too common.

I won't even pick up a new game if it's got more than 3 types of tokens/currencies anymore.
Especially if it looks like it takes more time to set up and explain the rules than it takes to actually play the game.

I have to admit I have no proof other than it wouldn't be the worst thing these kind of companies have done.
That, and as far as putting down any sort of 'grassroots' movement, making them look like fools is a move straight out of Freakonomics in regards to how the KKK was effectively out on blast by the Superman radio Broadcast of the day.
By showing how crazy and dumb the organizations 'secret codes' & 'rituals' were, their numbers dropped precipitously.

I'm still not convinced that these guys aren't being fronted by oil conglomerates to make real climate activists look like morons.

Considering that a US hospital will charge you a few grand for even looking in their direction these days, $2,500.22 for something serious, like seizures, sounds like a steal :(

Ideally, it would be the same word over and over, so that we can trick the AI into ending all sentences with the word. Bonus points if it is the word "buffalo", since it can from a grammatically correct sentence.
Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo

Which ever episode it was were the main love triangle chick flipped her car in broad daylight on a mostly empty road with no traffic.
I realized that almost none of these characters would have survived the initial outbreak.

Ah, US. I'll have to try VPN'ing in.
For those of you who either don't feel up to the task of writing a story or something this month, here's a tool to at least get your project ready for the next month! I've created a couple of daily prompts lists to help with world building. Regional / Fantasy Prompts: https://i.imgur.com/18NpKqD.jpg Local Cluster / Sci-fi Prompts: https://i.imgur.com/2PVRBdo.jpg
Some festive collection of balloons in the rain!
Today we've got some majestic square sails and a neat crane!
A silly and impractical design! Only really suited for short trips between islands. I also did a turnaround of this one: https://youtu.be/LvwbJlO4Fgw
Fought through a PC crash on this one! Don't think my rig likes the clouds XD I built a Harpoon Prow and a double hull today! [Close Up](https://i.imgur.com/OP7jYy2.png)
Spherical Balloons today! Figured I'd edit some existing pieces today, too.
A pretty simple one today. This one's got some nice, calming, upper-atmospheric clouds hanging out!
A roman-esque hull today. Also making an appearance is the Maelstrom, an ever-present storm that inhabits the central region in-between archipelagos in my setting. ![And here's a screenshot of my wireframe!](https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/b7bc4fe5-cda8-4b26-b71d-37bf61890d27.png) My geometry isn't the greatest, but it's fun, so whatever :)
This time with some birds! I think I need to make a chubby barrel version at some point, but this fits my form factor.
Some sort of Claw Sail-type propulsion today! I might hold back on posting these everyday in order to not flood the channel with airships. But, I will post when I have enough new pieces to make a whole new ship. That way I can spend more time on composition for the renders, too!
I've decided to challenge myself and build 1 modular airship component each day this month. Today's build is a Vertical Balloon, everything else existed for a previous project, but as more pieces are modeled, it won't take long before everything is swapped out. Everything here is modelled in Blender, with the occasional texture made in Krita.
Had fun with a blend. I'm tempted to deal it and try some shade, but I kind of like it like this.
I've made a bunch of prompts to work with different scales such that I've can build up their setting with as little work as fleshing out a single prompt everyday for a month! For each each day this month, choose a prompt from one of the Scales you need for your setting (Local, Region, World, System, Cluster, or Galaxy). Alternatively, you can choose multiple prompts each day. The goal remains the same, chip away at various sections at your setting that one might not normally consider, and by the end of the month, you'll have a fairly fleshed out strong for any project you might have!
